then you have been given a Grace Gift from the Spirit of God. 


1 Corinthians 12:4-7 teaches... 

"4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good."

"Sustainable Church" by Walt Russell

This is a great book to read if you want to understand more about the principles found in the scripture that have shaped the formation of The Church. It is an excellent Biblically based explanation for why we are using a Team Pastoring/Shepherding approach to church leadership but even more than that it explains the importance of every member's role in the building up of the Body of Christ.
